SEALED TENDERS, clearly marked as to contents will be received by the City Clerk, Level 1, City Hall, 426 Brant Street, Burlington until 2:00 p.m.

The storm sewer to be replaced is located on the north side of Old Waterdown Road, east of Waterdown Road.

 

Estimated Major Item Quantities:

 

Excavation and removal of existing 600mm dia. storm sewer from existing manhole on Waterdown Road to outfall located on the north side of Old Waterdown Road.

 

Install approximately 153m length of 600mm dia. HDPE storm sewer pipe, including 450mm depth of Granular "A", 75mm depth of HL8 and 50mm depth of HL3.

 

The construction of this project must meet Conservation Halton and Department of Fisheries and Oceans requirements.

 

Tenders and plans may be purchased from the Engineering Department, Level 2, City Hall, at a price of $62.15 (HST incl.) as of Tuesday, August 24, 20010.  Plan taker's lists and tender results can be viewed at www.burlington.ca.  Inquiries should be directed to Arif Shahzad at 905-335-7600, ext. 7486.

 

Tenders will be opened in Council Chambers, City Hall, at 2:15 p.m., September 8, 2010.
