Details:

The intent of this Bid call is to invite and receive bids to furnish all labour, materials, services, transportation and incidentals to perform the following work: 

 

Section I – Installation of Regulatory and Warning Signs

Section II – Installation of Signage Posts

 

The City of Burlington has developed a multi-year plan to replace traffic signage that is included in the Minimum Maintenance Standards, Ontario Regulation 239/02, Section 11, of the Municipal Act, as well as other signage that requires upgrading to high intensity retro-reflective sheeting, Type III or IV, as stated in the Ontario Traffic Manual, Book 5 – Regulatory Signs and Book 6 – Warning Signs.

Bidders must have previously purchased this bid document and be on the corresponding Plan Takers list.  This document can be obtained online or in person as detailed below:

In person, at Purchasing Services – $55.00 - Administration Fee (incl. HST)

 

METHODS OF PAYMENT:

 

Payment by credit card is required for documents available electronically.  If picking up the document in person, the City will accept cash, cheque, Interac, MasterCard, Visa and American Express.   Cheques are to be made payable to The Corporation of the City of Burlington.   Documents will not be released until payment is received.   The City of Burlington is not responsible for delivery delays via courier or mail.
