The Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board invites bids for the purpose of acquiring a provider of hazardous waste management services to clean, service, repair, replace and recharge acid neutralizing tanks in science rooms and various other locations within our Secondary School sites as per Appendix A. 

INTRODUCTION

The Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board is one of largest and most diverse school districts in Ontario, serving 1,213,841 residents over 2,670 square kilometres.  The Board currently operates 146 Catholic schools (120 elementary and 26 secondary) throughout Mississauga, Brampton, Caledon and Dufferin County, with a student enrolment of approximately 85,458 (51,743 elementary and 33,715 secondary students).  With over 10,000 employees, the board is also one of the largest employers in the region.  It is the goal of the Board to provide quality education to students in a setting which fosters Catholic values and beliefs.
