The Region is inviting Proposals from qualified consultants to provide engineering and other Services to complete the long term capital plan for the Region’s waste management facilities.

 

Request for Proposal documents are available for download from the Region’s Bids and Tenders Website at http://bids.york.ca for a NON-REFUNDABLE fee of Forty-One dollars ($41.00) (HST incl.) or a hard copy may be obtained for Sixty-Four dollars ($64.00) (HST incl.) per set at the Regional Municipality of York, Administrative Centre, 17250 Yonge Street, Supplies and Services, 1st Floor, Newmarket, Ontario on or after 11:00 a.m.,May 15, 2012.  This advertisement is also published on www.biddingo.com.   Bidders that elect to pick up the complete RFP package from York Region’s Supplies and Services Branch at 17250 Yonge Street, Newmarket, Ontario will be required to register in the Bids and Tenders system at the Supplies and Services counter.   All Addenda will be issued on the Bids and Tenders website.

 

This Request for Proposal package consists of the following documents:

Proponents are invited to attend an Information Meeting to be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 commencing at 9.30 am until 11:00pm at the Meeting Room of 465 Davis Drive, Suite 100 in the City of Newmarket, L3Y 7T9, Ontario.

 

All Proponents are encouraged to email their questions to the Region’s Senior Purchasing Analyst, ivy.ho@york.ca a minimum of three (3) business days prior to the meeting date.  All questions submitted and asked at the meeting will be addressed. Minutes of the meeting will be sent to each Proponent as an addendum to form part of the RFP documents.

Proponents are advised that, unless otherwise permitted by the Region’s Purchasing By-Law, no proposal shall be accepted from, nor shall any contract be awarded to, any Proponent with whom the Region is engaged in unresolved litigation.

A list of the Proponents that submitted proposals will be provided upon request after 2:30 p.m. on the date the RFP closes. 

 

Sealed Proposals, clearly marked with the RFP Number, Description of the Project, and the Legal Company Name of the Bidder will be received by the Director of Supplies & Services at the address below on or before the closing date and time as listed.  Late bids will NOT be accepted.
