TO SUPPLY AND DELIVERY of the HAZLETON, 3 STREAM RECYCLING UNIT EL-003 on a term contract

BIDS, clearly marked, shall be Faxed or Emailed to: The Town of Newmarket, Procurement Services Department at 905-953-5137 or to quickbids4@newmarket.ca, or hand delivered to the Procurement Services Department, no later than, (15:00:00 hours) 3:00:00 p.m. local time, on Friday, June 29th, 2012

THE TOWN OF NEWMARKET PROCUREMENT SERVICES DEPARTMENT HAS LAUNCHED ITS NEW BID OPPORTUNITIES WEBSITE. 

Bid documents are available for download from the Corporation of the Town of Newmarket’s (the Owner) website at http://bids.newmarket.ca BIDDERS MUST EITHER CREATE AN ACCOUNT OR LOG INTO THEIR ACCOUNT TO REGISTER FOR THE BID OPPORTUNITY before they can download the Bid Document and/or Addenda/Addendum.  There is no cost to set up an account on the Owner’s Bid Opportunities website. 

If a Bidder has obtained this Bid Document from a third party, the onus is on the Bidder to create an account and register for the bid opportunity, as instructed above. 

HARD COPY BID DOCUMENTS ARE NO LONGER PROVIDED BY THE OWNER’S PROCUREMENT SERVICES DEPARTMENT. 

All Addenda/Addendum shall be posted on the Owner’s Bid Opportunities website. The onus is on the Bidders to ensure that they have downloaded all Addenda/Addendum and shall acknowledge all Addenda/Addendum, where required on the Bid submission form, whether the Bidder has received notification from the Owner’s Bid Opportunities website or not. Failure to acknowledge Addendum/Addenda on the Bid submission form may result in a non-compliant bid and rejection by the Town. 

The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject all or part of any Bid and also reserves the right to accept other than the lowest Bid and to cancel this Bid at any time. 

Tuesday, June 26th 2012 is the deadline for emailed written questions to the Procurement Representative. 

To ensure fair consideration and evaluation of bids, the Owner prohibits communication initiated by Bidders to or with any Owner consultant or employees during the bid process, with the exception to the Procurement Representative:
