The Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board is inviting only pre-qualified bidders for Ontario Street Replacement School which includes all labour, material, and equipment to complete all work in accordance with Tender PUR12-060-T.

A Mandatory Site Meeting for pre-qualified General Contractors ONLY is scheduled for July 9th, 2012 at 10:30AM on site at Bowmanville HS, located at 49 Liberty Street, Bowmanville, ON. Bidders are to meet at the main doors of Bowmanville HS prior to 10:30AM. Attendance will be recorded; Bidders not attending will be disqualified from the Bidding process. Bids received from disqualified Bidder’s will be returned unopened.                                                                                                                     

A Bid Deposit is required to be returned with the tender submission in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid Total Tendered Price in the form of a Bid Bond.

An executed agreement to Bond for a Performance Bond and Labour and Materials each in the amount of fifty percent+ (50%) of the total tender price is required to be returned with the tender submission.

Each bidder shall deposit with the Consultant his certified cheque for $200.00 per set when requesting drawings and specifications.  The certified cheque must be made payable to "Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board".  Prequalified Contractors may obtain two full sets.

The cheque of the unsuccessful bidders shall be returned to them on return to the Consultant in good condition, of all drawings and specifications issued to them, provided that these are received within 10 days of notice of award of contract OR of rejection of all bids. The Cheque of the successful bidder will be returned to the Contractor on award of the Contract.

Additional sets may be purchased for a non-refundable printing cost of $200.00 in the form of a separate certified cheque made out to "Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board".

Individual drawings or documents are not available from the Consultant.
