Overview 

St. Mary's General Hospital is seeking Prequalification Submissions from qualified contractors for building envelope restoration work required at the North and South Elevators of the North Tower Building. Below is a brief overview of the estimated project scope. 

Phase 2:

• Decommission existing medical gas services and removal of medical equipment at 8th floor, where such services interface with the 8th floor exterior wall.
• Demolish 8^th floor masonry walls, and construct new structural steel stud wall system to support new EIFS exterior cladding;
• New windows on 8^th floor north/south elevations;
• Perform selective demolition and replacement of interior finishes at 8^th floor.
• Remove existing concrete balconies and 8^th floor canopy;
• Removal of existing balcony doors/windows on L3-L7. Infill and replace with new punch windows;
• Perform localized brick masonry repairs and masonry stabilization as required to support new cladding system in Phase 3;
• Remove and dispose of existing roofing system from 9^th floor North and South elevations and replace with new roofing system;
• Selective lintel repair/replacements;

• Over-clad brick masonry with Exterior Insulation and Finish System (EIFS) for full extent of North elevation;
• Replace all existing north elevation windows levels 3-7, level 9.  
• Remove, clean and reinstate induction heating units and mount onto new curbs at 8^th floor
