REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR Consulting Service to conduct a Parking Study in Downtown Oakville and in the Kerr Street BIA

 

PROPOSALS marked clearly as to the contents, will be received by the undersigned until

 

2:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 1, 2012

 

SCOPE: to complete a commercial parking study and report for Downtown Oakville and the Kerr Street Business District.

 

Proponents must be listed on the document takers list for this proposal in Biddingo.com.   A duly authorized official of the proposing company must complete and sign the Form of Proposal included in Section C of this document.  Full name, address and contact telephone numbers must be included with the submission for the proposal to be considered valid.  The completed and signed proposal form (together with all required attachments as outlined in the document) must be returned to the Purchasing Department on or before the time and date of the receipt of proposals shown on the notice page of this Request for Proposal.  If the Proposal Form is not completed and included in the proponent’s submission – the submission will not be distributed to the Selection Committee for evaluation and the proponent will be advised of disqualification. 

As its best interests may appear, the Town of Oakville reserves the right to, at any time during the selection process, reject any or all proposals, either in whole or in part.

IN PERSON:    Documents are available in hard copy at Town Hall, 1225 Trafalgar Road, Purchasing Division, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  Documents picked up in hard copy are available at a cost of $60.00 plus HST.

 

Written submissions for this project will be received by the Manager of Purchasing no later than 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 1, 2012. Four (4) copies of the submission, one clearly marked ‘Original’ are required. Submissions are to be no greater that 25 pages in length, excluding the time-task breakdown chart, project schedule and appendices.  In addition, curriculum vitae, company promotional literature, photographs, etc. may be included in the appendices.  Submissions must be sealed in two envelopes, as instructed in this document.  Envelope templates are included at the end of this RFP document. The copy marked “Original” MUST include an original signature from the Authorized Official noted on the Form of Proposal – photocopies and signature stamps will not be accepted.

 

Written submissions may be short listed by the selection committee and the successful short listed applicants may be asked to make formal presentations to the selection committee. The form of contract for this project will be formed by this Request for Proposal, the successful proponent’s submission and the issuance of the Town’s Purchase Order for the work..

1225 Trafalgar Road, Oakville L6H 0H3. Submissions received after the closing time will NOT be accepted.

 

The onus is on the bidder to ensure that the bid is received in the proper location and before the closing time.
