The City’s high value competitive bid opportunities are posted on the City’s Biddingo.com bid portal at www.biddingo.com/mississauga. This on-line portal service provides vendors with a “one stop shop” for bid opportunities available from governmental and private sector organizations across Canada.

Commencing November 15^th, City Procurement Request documents such as Requests for Tender and Proposal will be downloadable. (Certain complex documents may continue to be provided in hard copy format.) The instructions to Bidders in each procurement will specify how documents may be obtained.  To obtain documents and participate in any high value opportunity, vendors must complete a City Vendor Application Form available on the bid portal and indicate their commodity classification codes. All vendors who complete this Application form will receive an e-mail alert regarding new City of Mississauga procurements related to their selected commodity codes.  Vendors will be responsible for maintaining their correct contact information in the Biddingo database; the City will no longer maintain vendor lists or fax notices to incumbent or prospective vendors.

Biddingo Service Options and Costs:

• The annual subscription fee is currently $250.00 + GST/HST as applicable. Biddingo subscribers can view procurements available from all governmental and private sector organizations, review document takers, and bid results and receive automatic notification of addenda - free of charge. They can also download individual procurement documents and pay only the City portion of the cost.
• Registered vendors that do not subscribe will receive e-mail notifications of new opportunities for their commodity code and be able to purchase and download documents on a “pay-as-you-go” basis. Biddingo also offers a 30 day free trial for those vendors wishing to “kick the tires” before purchasing a subscription.

A Word about Bid Submissions & Openings:
Bidders must still submit bids in hard copy format by the specified closing date and time to Materiel Management at Mississauga Civic Centre, 300 City Centre Dr., 4th floor Façade. Public Openings will continue as usual shortly thereafter.
