Email: bidstation@bchydro.com | | Details: | Details of the Request For Proposals *** This RFP is issued by BC Hydro to obtain Proposals from parties wishing to provide the following Work to BC Hydro: To provide all labour, materials and supplemental services for the following underground feeder line work projects: Task #1 - Feeder Pull & Splice, near Cambie Road, Richmond, B.C.: To complete CAM 2557 outside the Cambie Substation and to extend two new feeders CAM 2560 (standby) and CAM 2561 (running) from Cambie Substation to switches SW 22530 (CAM 2560) and SW 22494 (CAM 2561). All Work is to be completed by September 15, 2012. Task #2 - Cathedral Square Underground Work, Vancouver, B.C.: To transfer loads on 12F215 at Cathedral Square Substation to 12F622 feeder position. Some manholes requiring entry as part of this Task do contain lead cables; therefore a qualified cable splicer will be required for portions of this Work. The priority of the Work will be dependent on the loading, which will be determined by the Fraser Valley Operations Center (FVO). This Task will be awarded to one Contractor. All Work is to be completed by February 28, 2013. BC Hydro may award Tasks to either one Contractor or to multiple Contractors.
