The
Region is inviting proposals from General Contractors for the Construction of a
Pre-Cast, Pre-Stressed Above-Grade Concrete Potable Water Tank for the Glenway
Reservoir Expansion Project in the Town of Newmarket. Only those General Contractors qualified by
the Region will be permitted to submit bids on the construction of the proposed
work.
A
set of the RFP documents may be downloaded from the Region’s Bids and Tenders
web site at http://bids.york.ca on or after August 2, 2012.
All Bidders must register in the Bids and Tenders
system before they can download the bid document. Bidders that elect to pick up the documents
will be required to register in the Bids and Tenders system at the Supplies
& Services counter.
All
company information (legal company name, address, phone, fax and email address
of the primary contact) must be provided upon registration in the
Bids and Tenders system.
Bidders are advised that, unless otherwise permitted
by the Region’s Purchasing By-Law, no bid shall be accepted from, nor shall any
contract be awarded to, any Bidder with whom the Region is engaged in
unresolved litigation.

or any proposal or any part of any proposal are not necessarily accepted. The Region reserves the right to award to
other than the lowest bidder.
