Details:   The District of Mission invites submissions to ITT 2012-002 for its 2012 Asphalt Rehabilitation Program. The 2012 asphalt rehabilitation program consists of Work to be performed at five (5) separate locations within the District. Details on locations, descriptions of the work and estimated measurements and quantities are contained within Appendix A and Appendix B. The scope of work is such that the Contractor will be fully responsible for all Work associated with the paving program and as stipulated in this ITT document. District of Mission crews will not be performing work on the sites covered by this Contract with the exception of restoration or installation of permanent road signage required. The Work can generally be described as the provision of all labour, materials, profit and overhead to execute all of the Work as noted in this ITT document. This includes, for example, all site preparation, paving, asphalt overlay, asphalt walking strips, asphalt shoulder widening, saw cutting, maintaining or improving storm drainage patterns, sweeping and application of tack coat, milling, repairing milling breakthroughs, tie-ins, raising all appurtenances (example: catch basins, catch basin manholes, valve boxes, etc), shouldering, grading, landscape restoration, line painting and road markings, survey layout as required, independent testing and reporting, excavation, supply of base and sub base materials, compaction, removal and off-site disposal of materials, removal of road signs and placement of temporary signs as required, issuing public notices, traffic control, restoration of any traffic signal devices affected, etc. This is not intended to be a comprehensive list, but rather an illustration that the Work is intended to be the complete and sole responsibility of the Contractor in all regards. The Work and related Contractor obligations are further detailed in other sections, schedules and appendices of this ITT document.
