| Details: | Project Description:The Work under this Contract is for the provision of all labour, materials and equipment required for Playground and Park Redevelopment â¿¿ includes but not limited to: playground demolition and removals; site works (grading and leveling earthworks including topsoil and seed); installation of site furnishings (benches, litter containers etc); landscaping; reshaping of toboggan hill area; construction and formation of bmx track and concrete and shale work (curbs and pathways) in accordance with City of Edmonton Design & Construction Standards Current Edition and Tender Documents including Specifications/Drawing(s). The successful Bidder shall complete the Work not later than October 5, 2012. Pre-Bid Meeting:All interested Bidders may view the site located at: Park Allen / Ellingson Park 11104-65 Avenue Edmonton, Alberta Bid Security:Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Cheque in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total Tender price. The successful bidder will be required furnish a Performance Bond equal to fifty percent (50%) of the Contract Sum. Additional Requirements:The City shall reject a Bid submitted by a Bidder who has not obtained a C.O.R. or S.E.C.O.R. appropriate to their industry issued by the Alberta Construction Safety Association or other industry association. Certification shall be evident by inclusion of the Bidder's name on the Alberta Construction Safety Association C.O.R. certification list current at the time of closing of this Tender or by the Bidder's submission of a copy of their C.O.R. or S.E.C.O.R.
