| | Details: | Request for Proposal North Vancouver School District is seeking Proposals to lease or purchase one or more of the following school properties: Monteray Elementary; Ridgeway Annex; Keith Lynn; and Plymouth Elementary. These schools have been closed and are available for occupancy upon conclusion of an agreement. Alternatively, the sites are available on a long-term lease or sale basis for redevelopment for other purposes (e.g. - residential use). Redevelopment for non-educational use will require an amendment to the Official Community Plan (OCP), and will also require rezoning. North Vancouver School District is seeking creative and innovative Proposals for the reuse or redevelopment of the above properties in alignment with the School District's vision and the OCP of the respective municipality. Such proposals may be submitted by an individual; organization, or by a number of organizations which are represented by a lead party, acting as the "sponsor" of the Proposal. Proposals are invited from any community or recreational group, independent school, post- secondary educational institution, non-profit society, developer, business, government agency or similar organization. Proponents are asked to read and to familiar with the school district's Land, Learning and Livability Community Engagement Blog ( http://blog44.ca/landmanagement/ ) as it includes valuable information about the Board's objectives in relation to its land management initiative.
