Email: brian.deines@ualberta.ca | | Details: | Project Description:The University proposes to construct up to 244 new spaces in two apartment style buildings in on 89th avenue between 110th and 111th streets in East Campus Village. Building A will consist of 148 spaces and Building B will contain 96 spaces. These buildings will feature multiple bedroom configurations (2 and 4 bedroom). The buildings will feature amenities and programmable space required to deliver support services for students and foster a sense of community. A total of 9 house structures along the south side of 89th avenue between 110th and 111th streets must be removed to accommodate this development. All students affected by the construction will be accommodated elsewhere in the residence system. Pre-Bid Meeting:3.1 A NON-MANDATORY viewing of the Work Site will be conducted on the 21 June 2012 at 09:30 hrs. on the corner of 88 Avenue and 110 Street, Edmonton, Alberta. The purpose of this viewing is to provide an opportunity to see the site and adjacent housing constructed nearby that is similar to what the University desires for this new project. This is an informal session, and no information will be provided with regards to the Bid Documents and procurement process.
