A general and not necessarily complete or exact description of the work is as follows:
The Work includes, but is not limited to, ditch repair at various locations within The Regional Municipality of York. The Contractor will use the existing ditching line to create a new ditch profile to ensure positive drainage in the correct direction of flow. The Contractor shall utilize the excess material at the top of the existing ditch at the discretion of the Region. Any material not reused on Site will be disposed of by the Contractor at an approved MECP site. The Contractor will be responsible for all locates, traffic control, Terraseeding, as well as erosion and sediment control.

A bid deposit in the form of a certified cheque, bank draft or Letter of Credit in the amount of $40,000.00 is required for this tender.

Bidders are advised that, unless otherwise permitted by the Region’s Purchasing Bylaw, no bid shall be accepted from, nor shall any contract be awarded to, any Bidder with whom the Region is engaged in unresolved litigation.
Tenders will be opened publicly at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2019 in Committee Room “A”, located on the main floor, next to the Council Chambers.
Sealed Tenders, clearly marked with the Tender Number, Description of the Project, and the Legal Company Name of the Bidder will be received by the Regional Clerk at the address below. Late bids will NOT be accepted.
