1. Why has Infrastructure Ontario (IO) partnered with Biddingo.com?

Infrastructure Ontario has partnered with Biddingo.com to bring the pre-qualification form online because of Biddingo.com's expertise and valuable data management system. IO strongly believes that replacing the paper-based pre-qualification forms with one that is online, will assist in gathering, and entering company information in a centralized database so that they can be identified to determine a general Contractor's or Consultant's capacity, experience, and competence.

Also, IO has partnered with Biddingo.com to distribute their bid opportunities as the Biddingo.com platform provides easy online tools for IO to send bid invitations directly to General Contractors and Consultants who have been pre-qualified to bid. Essentially Biddingo.com is simplifying the application and tendering process for both IO and general contractor and consultants.

2. Why do I have to subscribe to Biddingo.com in order to pre-qualify?

IO partnered with Biddingo.com in order to fulfill its need for an online pre-qualification form and to distribute bid opportunities. If you would like to do business with IO you must subscribe to Biddingo.com.

3. What else do I get with this subscription?

In addition to IO's pre-qualification form and bid opportunities, subscribers to Biddingo.com receive a great return on investment. See Biddingo.com's Features and Benefits.

4. How much does the subscription cost?

The cost to subscribe to Biddingo.com for one year is $250 + GST/HST as applicable.

5. Is there a cost to access the IO's pre-qualification form?

No. Once you are a subscriber of Biddingo.com, there is no additional fee to fill out IO's pre-qualification form.

6. Why do I have to pre-qualify with the IO?

In order to do business with the IO, general contractors that fall into the categories below, must pre-qualify with the IO in order to be invited to future projects:

• New Build or Addition
• Repair
• Tenant improvement
• Special Purpose and Institutional Facilities (Court House)
• Special Purpose and Institutional Facilities (Jails / Detention Centers / Correctional Facilities)
• Special Purpose and Institutional Facilities (Forensic / Healthcare Laboratories)
• Special Purpose and Institutional Facilities (Detachments)
• Special Purpose and Institutional Facilities (Heritage)

7. How will Biddingo.com help me find new sales opportunities?

There are several ways that you can locate new sales opportunities through Biddingo.com.

Once your company profile is setup on the system, you will receive a daily email listing all open contracts on Biddingo.com that match your profile. This makes your tender search a lot easier as you don't have to log on every day and search manually; relevant bids are automatically sent to you!

Your second option is to go directly to www.Biddingo.com and search for sales opportunities. You can search by keyword, category, My Profile, hot bids and advanced search functions.

A third way to promote your company is to update your listing in Biddingo's Supplier Directory, located at www.Biddingo.com. This is a sourcing tool used by public and private sector organizations to locate goods and services. You can upload your product information, images, catalogs and more!

And last, but not least, you can register on the bidder's list of public and private sector organizations. When you register on the list, the organization is notified that you want to receive bid invitations from them. The next time the organization has a bid opportunity; your company may be invited.

8. How will I be notified of invitations?

The buyer will select your company and add you to the invitation list. The invitation is sent to Biddingo.com's Quality Control (QC) Department for approval. Once the QC Department approves the invitation, an email is sent instantaneously to you.

9. Why do I receive a daily email from Biddingo?

Daily bid notification updates are a free service to all Biddingo.com subscribers. This notification is sent daily and contains information of the bid opportunities that have been posted since the last email was sent out.

10. How do I use the daily bid notification updates?

Each bid email notification contains a direct link to the specific bid on the Biddingo.com system. Click on the bid that you're interested in, and the Biddingo login page will be displayed. Simply login (using your User ID and Password) and the requested bid details will appear.

11. Can I customize the email notification so that I only receive bids that are of interest to me?

Yes! It's easy, just login to www.Biddingo.com and use the "My Profile" feature to add or change your business categories and location criteria. This will allow the Biddingo system send you bids from your chosen criteria only, so you only get bids that relate to your business.

12. How do I view the list of document takers and the bid results?

You need to be logged in to www.Biddingo.com and viewing a specific bid. If the list of document takers is available online, the "Document Takers" link will be activated. Click the link and you will be able to view the list of companies that have taken copies of the bid documents. Follow the same procedure for the bid results.
