As part of an overall strategic sourcing effort, the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board would like your response to its non-binding Request for Proposal (RFP). Your response is an integral part of an organization-wide initiative designed to optimize procurement practices. The goal of this initiative is to create efficiencies and provide additional value to both the WSIB and its suppliers through a variety of methods, including streamlined processes and volume concentration.

WHAT IS THE WSIB?
The WSIB is a statutory corporation continued under the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act (Ontario). The WSIB administers Ontario's no-fault workplace insurance plan for workers and employers and oversees the province's workplace safety education and training system. Under the insurance plan, the WSIB provides compensation benefits to injured workers, monitors the quality of health care they receive, assists in their early and safe return to work with their employers where possible and provides labour market re-entry assistance for workers unable to return to their accident employers.
