Description of Procurement: Miway the new Mississauga Transit is a division of the City of Mississauga’s Transportation and Works Department. It is responsible for on-street bus operations and on-going maintenance with an annual rider ship of 35 million riders. The fleet consists of approximately 500 buses and 50 light duty vehicles. Roughly 875 drivers complete 34 million vehicle kilometres annually. Miway Transit integrates services with Toronto, Brampton, Oakville, and GO Transit.
 
The objective of this RFT is to select one vendor that can provide Supply and Delivery of Rebuilt Transit Bus Cooling System Components in accordance with the City’s specifications and who can demonstrate the appropriate skills, will, experience and ability to provide ongoing service and support as needed by the City.

Delivery Schedule for Goods or Services OR Contract Duration: The contract will run for a period of one (1) year commencing February 1, 2019 to January 31, 2020 or from the award of the contract and receipt of purchase order.

Specific Conditions for Procurement: The responses received will be reviewed as to price, qualifications, capabilities and experience of the bidder and the availability of funds by the Municipality to complete the work.  The City reserves the right to accept or reject all or any bids and to waive informalities in accordance with established policy.
