The City of Mississauga
Transportation & Works Department, Transit, Fire and Fleet division is seeking
auction services for surplus vehicles and equipment from competent auction
companies.
Auction services will be for the following category of
items
- Light duty vehicles
- Medium duty vehicles
- Heavy duty vehicles
- Light duty Equipment
- Medium duty Equipment
- Heavy duty Equipment
- Miscellaneous equipment (industrial and
commercial)
The contract term will be for two years, starting
approximate Feb 1, 2018 and ending Jan 31, 2020. The City has the option to
extend contract by two (2) two (2) year terms.
To qualify, bidders must have minimum five (5) years experience in vehicle and equipment
auction with minimum three (3) auctions per year.
Procurement forms will be
available for “In Person” or “By Courier” pick-ups at the address
provided below on or about 5 December 2017
Responses must be time-stamped to be considered. LATE
BIDS will be rejected without exception.
Vendors are invited to attend a public opening
commencing at 2:30 p.m., LOCAL TIME, on the day of closing, at the
Mississauga Civic Centre, 300 City Centre Drive.
Tenders will be reviewed as to
the lowest price, qualifications, capabilities and experience of the bidder
and the availability of funds by the Municipality to complete the work. The
City reserves the right to accept or reject all or any bids and to waive
informalities in accordance with established policy. The City of Mississauga
